Kylian Mbappé dropped by Chinese brands for ‘offending national sentiments’

Kylian Mbappé has been dropped by two major Chinese brands, Dongpeng Beverage and Mengniu, after a video surfaced showing him apparently joking about former Chinese leader Mao Zedong, which the companies said offended national sentiments. The French captain's endorsement deals were terminated following the circulation of the footage online.
